FalconFive's Battle Reports

My LGS started a month long steamroller event this past week. Same rules as a standard steam roller just spread out to one game per week. This is the second time we have tried this style of play and had decent success. More players join and start the event, but more people drop as well. so pros and cons to either format. For this tournament I decided to run Una 2 (Devours Host) and Krueger 1(Secret Masters).  This format tends to have more of a casual feel to it so I wanted to explore alternate pairings.  My Lists: Una 2  - Gorax - Scarsfell x 5 Nightwitch x2 Gallows Grove Tharn Shaman Tharn Ravagers with Cheiftain Tharn Bloodtrackers Lanyssa Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew Death Wolves Krueger 1  -Feral -Pureblood -Woldwyrd -Woldwyrd Celestial Fulcrum Wronge Eye -Snapjaw Druids with Overseer Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew  Una is pretty much my go to into everything. She has her bad match ups but I feel like I can drop her into most thing

Got a game in today. Semi casual. Both if us were trying new things.  Krueger 1 vs Doomy 3. Scenario was spread the net. My list: Krueger 1 - Secret Masters -feral warpwolf -pureblood -woldwyrd -woldwyrd Celestial Fulcrum Druids with overseer Wrong eye and snapjaw Gobbers bellows crew Adams list: Doomy 3 - power of Dhunia -mountain king -axer -earthborn -mulg Dhunia knot Krielstone with elder 2x northkin shamans (Doomys scroll bearer was proxied by wrongeye) I won the roll and chose sides. Terrain was really heavy on both sides so I chose the side with the house to give Krueger a place to hide and the zone would be easier to defend. Adam when first and ran. Feral and snapjaw had to move towards the opening in the rough terrain. The druids deciding they were going to be useless in this matchup because of implacibility, run hard left to flank.  Adam pushes into the central zone and creates a beast wall in the middle.    So been it's been awhile since my last battle report. But seeing as how I haven't been able to play as much I'm going to start logging them again.  This is mainly for my own benefit and hopefully some light entertainment for anyone reading it. We had a steamroller at my LGS the day after themes dropped. So everyone was playing new lists and new themes. Before themes dropped I was planning on running 2una in devours host paired with wurmwood in wild hunt. With the themes being released I really wanted to try out a kaya 3 list I built. I ended up pairing it with Greg Collinson's Baldur 1 list which I've played before and enjoyed. I wanted to bring tharn but not double up on griffons so 2una was out.
